Start With Evidence

Start a Rapid Modernization Pilot.

Tell us about your legacy system, modernization goals, and current risk. We will discuss whether a focused pilot can validate architecture, produce working software, and reduce modernization uncertainty before a full project commitment.

What To Send

A useful first conversation starts with context.

You do not need a complete inventory or finished assessment before contacting ResQSoft. A short description of the system, the current platform, the business risk, and the desired modernization direction is enough to begin a practical discussion.

ResQSoft does not require customer source code to be pasted into public LLM services. Customer intellectual property should remain under appropriate control throughout the modernization process.

Helpful details

  • Current platform and technologies
  • Approximate application size
  • Business function supported
  • Known risks or pain points
  • Modernization goals
  • Timeline or procurement constraints

Common starting points

  • COBOL, Natural / Adabas, Oracle Forms, PowerBuilder, CA Gen, or legacy Java
  • Applications with years of deferred enhancement backlog
  • Systems dependent on retiring staff or scarce skills
  • Translated systems that run but remain hard to maintain
  • Need for working software before a large commitment

Why A Pilot

Most assessments produce reports. A pilot produces evidence.

A Rapid Modernization Pilot is designed to answer practical questions before a full modernization commitment is made. The objective is to validate architecture, inspect source code quality, evaluate maintainability, and reduce project risk.

Validate architecture

Confirm the target architecture and modernization approach using a representative slice of real functionality rather than a theoretical recommendation.

Inspect source code

Review modernized source code that your technical stakeholders can evaluate for readability, maintainability, structure, and long-term ownership.

Reduce delivery risk

Use working software, not speculation, to validate assumptions about scope, complexity, testing, business rules, and project delivery.
